The club has an illustrious history in the sports of Tennis which dates back to the British Raj when officers of the Royal Queens’ Army would frequent this place to unwind with the game of Tennis. Over the years, things have transformed into a more professional hue, wherein three Clay Courts have come up with Flood Lights and other amenities as per international specifications. An impressive spectator gallery allows the guests and accompaniments to comfortably watch their wards practice and pick up the nuances of this stylish game. The club tennis has a lot of buzz in the region as India’s Davis Cup Captain and an acclaimed Ambassador of the sports, Mr Enrico Piperno, who has the rare distinction of coaching Leander Paes, Mahesh Bhupati & Sania Mirza, runs a Tennis coaching camp for various age groups. These camps receive an overwhelming response throughout the year and remain popular in the entire region with enthusiasts thronging from far and near. Various budding stars playing in the club have earned laurels in the International and National arena. Besides the coaching camp, regular Tennis Tournaments are organised in the club at various levels. One of the most respected and renowned International Coaches Mr Bob Brett, who coached world’s top seed Boris Becker and Goran Ivanowich, was recently invited by Enrico Piperno Tennis Federation to hold a clinic for the enrolled students at the Tennis camp, which was highly subscribed.
