STANDING OPERATING PROCEDURE TO CONTAIN SPREAD OF COVID-19 IN RESTAURANT & BARS : ORDNANCE CLUB
1. Generic Preventive Measures

    (a) Members above 65 years of age, persons with co-morbidities, pregnant women & children below the age of 10 years are not permitted to avail restaurant facilities.

    (b) Members staying in containment zones are not allowed to avail restaurant facilities.

    (c) Physical distancing of at least 6 feet to be followed.

    (d) Use of face mask is mandatory.

    (e) Frequent washing of hands with alcohol based hand sanitizers to be practiced especially by the staff.

    (f) Spitting is strictly prohibited.

    (g) Respiratory etiquettes, to include covering of one’s mouth & nose while coughing / sneezing with a tissue / handkerchief/ flexed elbow & disposing off used tissues properly to be strictly followed.

    (h) No guests are permitted.

    (i) Self monitoring of health by all members & reporting any illness is advised.

    (j) Installation & use of Aarogya Setu App is advised.

    (k) Sanitization machine will be used to always senitise cash received, debit / credit card, menu card or other reusable items required during operations.


2. Specific Measures

    (a) Entrance to the Ordnance club will have hand hygiene & thermal screening arrangements. Members are requested to co-operate.

    (b) Only asymptomatic members / staff are allowed entry.

    (c) Members/ Staff will be allowed entry only if using face cover / masks.

    (d) The restaurant & bar will be operated at max 50% of its normal seating capacity.

    (e) The temperature setting of all air conditioning devices should be in the range 24-30° C, relative humidity 40-70% & intake of fresh air should be as much as possible & cross ventilation should be adequate.

    (f) Effective & frequent sanitization within the premises shall be maintained with particular focus on lavatories, drinking & hand washing station / areas.

    (g) Cleaning & regular disinfection (using 1% sodium hypochlorite) of frequently touched surfaces (door knobs, hand nails etc) will be carried out.

    (h) Tables will be sanitized each time customers leaves.

    (i) Deep cleaning of all washrooms shall be ensured at regular intervals.

    (j) Proper disposal of face covers / masks / gloves left over by members / staff will be ensured.

    (k) Though the enclosed spaces like Defence/Civil Bars, Dining Hall etc are open to members with safety protocols as given above, members are requested to preferably patronise open spaces like club lawn etc where adequate seating arrangements have been made to further enhance their safety.

    (l) Operations are being carried out with minimal essential staff who are coming at staggered timing.

    (m) Daily temperature check of all staff members.

    (n) Fixing of maximum member limit for all enclosed spaces viz (Defence Bar/ extension, Civil Bar/ extension & Dining Hall/extension & prominent display of maximum member limit at all these places.

    (o) Kittiing of all staff members who are coming in close contact with Face shield, Masks, Gloves & Head Covers.

    (p) Provision of social distancing to avoid crowding at the entrance.
