Welcome to
Ordnance Club
Ordnance Club at Hastings, Kolkata is one of the oldest
and prestigious sports Clubs in Kolkata. This is a proprietory institution owned
and managed by Ordnance Services Officers Welfare Society (OSOWS) and hence the
name Ordnance Club. It is believed that consequent to the formation of Board of
Ordnance on 08 April, 1775, some sort of a recreational centre for troops was
created in the Hastings area in Kolkata which was manned and managed by Ordnance
Personnel and Officers. The genesis of the Ordnance Club dates as far back as

Members can now pay their Club bills at any branch of HDFC Bank without any additional charges through “A/C Payee” cheque, drawn in favour of “Ordnance Club, A/c No. 04281450000033, HDFC Bank Moulali Branch, Kolkata” which can be dropped in the drop box of any ATM of HDFC Bank. Cash payments can also be made to the aforesaid account at any branch of HDFC Bank. Membership No and name must be mentioned on the reverse of the cheque / in the pay-in slip. |
